Infinite Powers by Steven Strogatz

 How Calculus Reveals the Secrets of Universe.

DESCRIPTION;

“If calculus is the language of the universe,then

Steven Strogatz is its Homer. With verve, insight, and simplicity, he explains the deep ideas underlying one of humankind’s greatestn Itellectual achievements. In nite Powers is an

incalculable pleasure.”

— DANIEL GILBERT,

author of Stumbling on HappinessIn nite Powers recounts how calculusa Intalized and thrilled its inventors, starting with its rst glimmers in ancient Greece and bringing us right up to the discovery of gravitational waves (a phenomenon predicted by calculus). Strogatz reveals how this form of math rose to the challenges of each age: how to determine the area of a circle with only sand and a stick; how to explain why Mars goes “backwards” sometimes; how to make electricity with magnets; how to en￾sure your rocket doesn’t miss the moon; how to turn the tide in the ght against AIDS.

FEATURES;

1: As should be obvious by now, I’ll be giving an applied mathemati￾cian’s take on the story and significance of calculus. A historian of mathematics would tell it differently. So would a pure mathematician.

2: Phenomena out there guide the mathematical questions we ask; conversely, the math we imagine sometimes foreshadows what actually happens out there in reality.

3: Embracement of all kinds of subjects: philosophy, politics, science, history, medicine, all of it. That’s the story I want to tell the world according to calculus.

4:This is a much broader view of calculus than usual. It encom￾passes the many cousins and spinoffs of calculus, both within math￾ematics and in the adjacent disciplines.

5: Take the story of wireless communication. It began with the dis￾covery of the laws of electricity and magnetism by scientists like Mi￾chael Faraday and André-Marie Ampère.

6: The possibility of wireless communication would never have been realized. So, obviously, experimental physics was indispensable here.

7: The infinity principle.

8: The Golem of Infinity.

9: Curves, Motion amd Changes.

10:Admittedly, some aspects of our ever-changing world lie beyond the approximations and wishful thinking inherent in the Infinity principle.

CONCLUSION;

It’s incredible but true: Even in the subatomic realm where New￾tonian physics breaks down, Newtonian calculus still works. In fact,it works spectacularly well. As we’ll see in the pages ahead, it has teamed up with quantum mechanics to predict the remarkable efects that underlie medical imaging, from MRI and CT scans to the more exotic positron emission tomography.

Indefinite Integral Objective and Subjective problems.

 Hello everyone , The field of indefinite integral is widely separated among us. In calculus, an antiderivative, inverse derivative, primitive function, primitive integral or indefinite integral of a function f is a differentiable function F whose derivative is equal to the original function f. This can be stated symbolically as F' = f. The knowledge of both definite and indefinite integrals is very important in the field of mathematics. The reason of its importance is that, in every mathematical and physical field of business data are proceesed in this mannaer very quickly. The Book that I am presenting is consisted of 22 chapters. The first post about this Site

Hello Everyone! Myself Zeeshan Haider Mushtaq. This is my second blog. My first blog is for educational purpose, which is zeeshantechspot/                                              This Blog is very similar to previous one.   In this blog I will provide and teach everything about mathematics for educational purpose. This is not enough, I'll also describe about the culture and traditions of various countries and states. So this is gonna be very interesting for those who loves to learn about universe. You can even download thousands of books from here. Keep in touch and stay with us.  Thanks regards  Zeeshan Haider Mushtaq

Infinite Sequence and Series full Book

 Hello everyone, 'Infinite Sequence and series' were introduced briefly in a Peview of Calculus in connection with Zeno's paradoxes and the decimal representation of numbers. There importance in Calcuus stems for Newtons's idea of representation function as a sum of infinite series. For insance, in finding areas he often integrated a function by first  expression it as a series and then integrating each term of the series. We wil persue an idea in Section 11.10 in oder tointegrate some basic and important exponential functions.  Many of the functions that aries in tha mathematical physics and chemistry, such as Bassel function, are defined as a sum of the series. So it is very important to fimiiar with the basic concepts of convergence of iNFINITE  sequence and series.   Physicists also use the series in other way as we see in section 11.11. In studying field of diverse as Optics, Special relaivety, and  electromagnitism, they analyze frnomina by a fu...
